(More customer reviews)I bought this for my home powerlifting set-up, as an alternative to the $300 and higher benches from EliteFTS and other powerlifting suppliers.The specs on it say that it is good up to 700 or 750 lbs... so as a 215 lb man, one could conceivably hit a 500# bench and still have a margin to spare.It's also the only cheaper bench I found with a nearly 12" pad width (which is PL regulation).

What prevented me from giving it a 5 star rating is that once assembled, I had to trap a washer between part 'B' and part 'A' (see product manual) on one side of one of the ends in order to get the bench to sit evenly.Wasn't a huge problem, but it had about a 1/4 inch wobble before I did that.
